DANA’s mission is to increase the effectiveness of Delaware’s nonprofit organizations by advocating on issues of broad common interest to the nonprofit sector, creating educational programs specifically designed for nonprofits that are exceptional, applicable and affordable, providing accurate information on all aspects of the nonprofit sector, its management and governance practices, and keeping our members informed of emerging trends.
DAVA is a statewide, professional network of salaried and non-salaried managers of volunteers. Members enjoy workshop on current issues in volunteer management, a newsletter, mentor/mentee opportunities, and annual conference and an annual award for volunteer excellence.

The Meals On Wheels Association of America represents executive directors, Registered or Licensed Dieticians, volunteer coordinators and nutrition directors at Meals On Wheels and congregate programs nationwide. Their mission is to provide visionary leadership and professional training, and to develop partnerships that will ensure the provision of quality nutrition services.
The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce is the largest local chamber in the State of Delaware. Their full time, year round office works to organize programs that benefit local member businesses, the overall community and the visitor. In addition, they answer thousands of mail and telephone inquiries about the resort area, and act as a referral service for member businesses.
RSVP provides opportunities for people age 55 and older to apply their life experience to meeting community needs. The volunteers are recruited for volunteer positions with community non-profit organizations and serve in the areas of health and human services, education, environment and public safety.

Volunteer Delaware is part of 1-800-Volunteer.org, which is a service of the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network. This organization is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to engaging more people and resources more effectively in volunteer service to help solve serious social problems. They help to reduce administrative burdens which allows us to devote ourselves more efficiently to meeting the needs of our local community by recruiting, placing and enhancing the experience of local volunteers.
