Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth was presented a $1,200 check on Friday, June 26, from B-Cycled Bottles.

B-Cycled Bottles’ Brandon Eckenrode upcycles used liquor bottles and cuts them into gorgeous drinking glasses. He’s based in Chicago but has family in Delaware. After the coronavirus pandemic began, he reached out to MOWLR to collaborate on fundraising. Brandon graciously donated  $20 of each $30 glass set sold, raising $1,200 for MOWLR.

Thank you, Brandon, for your generosity and thank you to everyone who bought glasses. Consider buying more in the future, they make great gifts!

Since Brandon is in Chicago, his Lewes-based brother, Derek Eckenrode, joined us for the check presentation. Thanks Derek!
